Welcome to the First 'Heart of Sensitivity' Newsletter!
My vision is to create community connections, inspire each other and celebrate what makes us sensitive!
Welcome!
I felt inspired to create a place that celebrates the gift of sensitivity in all its forms: peaceful hearts, gentle souls, and all the manifestations of being in the world as an Empath and Highly Sensitive Person (HSP).
Many of us struggle in a world that does not make sense or resonate with us. We might feel overwhelmed, shamed, misunderstood, strange and like we don't fit or belong. It has taken me decades to learn that we were never meant to fit in or belong (in that sense).
We are meant to be "US" in all our highly sensitive and deeply feeling glory! You belong here!
My vision is to create community connections, inspire each other and celebrate what makes us sensitive!
I would love to ask my fellow Empaths and HSPs a question that celebrates, elevates and explores the Heart of our Sensitivity! Such as:
What is at the Heart of Sensitivity for you?
How does sensitivity define, shape, and enrich your life?
How do you see, feel and experience the world?
In what ways is being an Empath or Highly Sensitive a gift and blessing in your life?
Where do you find peace and/or a sense of deep connection and belonging?
What are the unique gifts, traits, and passions you share with the world?
What are your deepest heart's desires personally and for others and the planet?
Some guidelines:
I am asking for your answers to be no longer than 600 words (more than one question could be answered in a post).
Please edit your responses (Grammarly is a great tool).
Please include a photo that is important and special to you. If the image belongs to you, please make a note of that. Places like Unsplash have photos that are free to use. If you do that, please note who took the picture.
Feel free to include your name or initials and an optional link to where people can find you and your passions.
I am looking for uplifting and Soul- inspiring content.
When it is complete, or if you have any questions, you can email them to me at tamara@forestpath.ca
Frequency:
I am considering posting once or twice weekly. If you have the Substack app, you have the choice of receiving posts by email or a notification in the app:
I will post my sensitive meanderings here occasionally, too, though I want this to be about "US!"
Warmly and excitedly,
Tamara
There is a podcast function on Substack. Possibly, it could be done interview-style at some point?
So glad to see you here! Will cross post some of your future stuff!
